What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password.
• What you post: repair cases, answers and, for technicians, your public listing.
• Quote requests: the name, contact details and message a customer sends to a technician. Only that technician sees them.
• Basic usage: page views and affiliate link clicks, counted without identifying you.

How we use it

To run your account, show your posts, connect customers with technicians, and keep the site free of spam. Text you send to Bench AI is processed by our AI provider to generate an answer; don’t include personal details in it.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ads Settings. We store a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your account and posts by contacting us through the site. We don’t sell your personal information.
