Is it a PDF?
No, and that’s on purpose. A PDF can’t play animations, music or a live countdown on phones. Your invitation is a link (legitdrops.net/i/yourname) that opens like an envelope on any phone, straight from WhatsApp, with no app to install. You can also download a still picture with a QR code for WhatsApp Status or printed cards.
Can I use the invitation card I already have?
Yes. Upload a picture or PDF of your existing card or programme and the AI reads the names, date, venue, order of events and colours for you (2 credits). Check the details, add your photos, and it’s ready.
How much does it cost?
Designing and previewing is free. Publishing your link costs 15 credits, and removing the small “Made with LegitDrops” badge is 10 more. New accounts get 6 free credits. AI help with wording costs 1 credit, and AI background pictures are free within a daily allowance.
How does the countdown work?
It counts down to the real date and time of your event in Nigerian time, so guests abroad see the right countdown too. On the day it says “It’s today!”, and afterwards it thanks your guests.
How do guests reply?
Guests tap “Will you be there?”, enter their name and how many are coming. You see a guest list with totals and can download it for Excel. They can also message you on WhatsApp in one tap.
Can I add music and a video?
Yes. Add a song (it starts when guests tap to open; phones don’t allow music before a tap) and a short video of up to 90 seconds, plus up to 12 photos.
Can I change things after sharing?
Yes. Edit the time, venue, programme or photos and the live invitation updates straight away. Only the link itself can’t change once shared.
How long does it stay online?
Until 90 days after your event, so guests can look back at it. Then it closes with a thank-you message.
