Scholarship Description:
The Singapore government offers five scholarships to international students.
Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA): The Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR), the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and the Singapore Management University are all offering this scholarship (SMU). It pays tuition, a monthly stipend, and other allowances for international students in Singapore pursuing a Ph.D. in science, engineering, or technology.
President's Graduate Fellowship (PGF): The National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University are offering this scholarship (NTU). It is open to international students who wish to pursue a Ph.D. degree in any of the two universities' fields of study.
Monbukagakusho Research Scholarship (MEXT): The Japanese government offers this scholarship to international students who want to pursue research-based graduate studies in Japan. This scholarship is also open to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents.
Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition Scholarships: LKY-SMILE (Singapore Management University Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship) in collaboration with the LKY School of Public Policy offered these scholarships.
ISCA-ICAI International Scholarships: The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India are offering this scholarship (ICAI). It is open to international students who want to study accounting in Singapore.
